Riverside Lodge is a 4 Star Guest House set in the beautiful Elan Valley near Rhayader. Set in spectacular surroundings beside the River Elan, a major tributary of the River Wye and on the gateway to the Elan Valley, otherwise known as the Lakeland of Wales. Peacefully nestled in beautiful countryside, the Lodge is only one and a quarter miles from the small attractive market town of Rhayader, (Rhaeadr Gwy ''the waterfall on the Wye''), to the east and a few minutes by car to the reservoirs and dams to the west. 

The Lodge offers an excellent central location for holidays and all activities in the area including hill walking, mountain biking/cycling, fishing (coarse and game), golf, bird watching (including the rare Red Kite), painting, or just sitting in the garden with a glass of wine enjoying the peace and tranquility of our beautiful riverside setting.

For the benefit of all guests the Lodge is a totally non-smoking building. 

All rooms within the Lodge are at ground level making it ideal for guests with mobility problems.

Barry and Gill own the Lodge and aim to provide a friendly and peaceful stay in the countryside. Riverside walks, cosy log fires and good home cooking are all aimed at making your stay an enjoyable and memorable one.
